The Mesa Highway Patrol was founded on November 18, 1915 with the purpose of patrolling and securing the State Of Mesa and its streets. It's role has evolved over time to include traffic and DUI enforcement, commercial vehicle enforcement and air rescue and operations. The agency's core mission is to serve with Courage. Serve with Honor. And Serve with Moral. The agency strives to serve its diverse communities by engaging and interacting with the people who live and work in the areas it serves.
